South Korea’s Upbit and Bithumb List Intuition ($TRUST) For Trading

What To Know:

  • South Korea’s top exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, have listed Intuition (TRUST), a blockchain project that converts verified information into economic value.
  • Trading began at 8:00 PM KST, with Upbit supporting KRW, BTC, and USDT markets, while Bithumb launched TRUST in its KRW market with a two-day fee-free window.
  • Both platforms enforced temporary trading limits and reminded users to verify Base network deposits and follow Travel Rule compliance to avoid delays or losses.

South Korea’s two largest crypto exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, have announced the listing of Intuition ($TRUST), a new crypto focused on transforming information into on-chain economic value.

Upbit, Bithumb Allows Intuition ($TRUST) Trading

Upbit confirmed that trading for TRUST will open at 8:00 PM KST across its KRW, BTC, and USDT markets. On the other hand, Bithumb will support trading in its KRW market at the same time. Both exchanges have advised users that initial liquidity may take time to stabilize. The platforms have also issued temporary restrictions to ensure orderly market activity during the launch.

Upbit has listed the lowest sell reference prices for TRUST as 714.56 KRW, 0.00000474 BTC, and 0.4801 USDT.

Bithumb, meanwhile, has set a base price of 866 KRW, later adjusted to 730 KRW, and has announced a two-day fee-free trading window for $TRUST transactions, ending at 8:00 PM on November 7, 2025.

To prevent volatility at launch, both exchanges will enforce brief buying and selling restrictions. On Upbit, buy orders will be paused for approximately five minutes after trading begins, while orders priced 10% below the reference rate will be restricted for a short period. Bithumb will apply similar measures, blocking orders that fall more than 10% below or exceed 100% above the base price during the first minutes of trading. Both platforms will also limit trading to limit orders for roughly two hours after trading starts.

Deposits and withdrawals for TRUST are supported exclusively via the Base network, a Layer-2 blockchain built on Ethereum. Deposits made through other networks will not be recognized. Both exchanges highlighted compliance with Travel Rule requirements, saying that deposits from unsupported exchanges or unverified wallets could face delays or refunds.

Both Upbit and Bithumb have issued detailed investment risk statements alongside the listing. They warn that crypto prices can get extremely volatile and be subjected to regulatory shifts, and that investors are responsible for potential losses. The platforms also highlight possible price gaps between South Korean and global markets, particularly during the initial trading phase.

Depositors are urged to verify network compatibility and contract addresses before transferring assets. On Upbit, the official contract address for TRUST is 0x6cd905dF2Ed214b22e0d48FF17CD4200C1C6d8A3. Incorrect deposits, the exchange cautions, may result in lengthy refund processes.

Intuition (TRUST) Crypto Project

According to project documentation, Intuition is a decentralized “Information Finance” (InfoFi) network that seeks to make information itself an asset class. The protocol allows users to create and verify discrete units of knowledge, called Atoms, and connect them using relational data structures known as Triples. Each contribution to the network can be staked, evaluated, or rewarded using the native TRUST token.

Built as a Layer-3 Optimistic Rollup on Arbitrum Orbit, Intuition inherits security from Base and Ethereum while introducing new mechanisms for collective data validation. The project envisions a global knowledge layer that bridges blockchain, artificial intelligence, and data analytics. Partnerships with Google Cloud, MetaMask, and Samsung are under development to advance its infrastructure and adoption.

TRUST serves multiple roles within the ecosystem i.e., it powers staking and data verification, supports governance participation, acts as collateral for node operations, and facilitates service fee payments.
