Japanese public company Remixpoint has announced its changing strategy on its cryptocurrency investments. The company has sold all the altcoins it previously owned and is now moving towards Bitcoin (BTC). Remixpoint says this move is meant to narrow its cryptocurrency portfolio and focus its business more directly on Bitcoin.
According to the company’s September 2 disclosure, Remixpoint sold its ETH, SOL, XRP, and DOGE holdings. The combined transactions generated sales, while the company also recorded a profit from the sales. Remixpoint said it will now consolidate its cryptocurrency holdings and operations around Bitcoin.

The move comes as the company continues to report its cryptocurrency investment performance. As of the end of August 2026, Remixpoint held BTC valued in yen. The company also disclosed that it had staked ETH and SOL before the altcoin sale, with the staking holdings valued in yen.
Remixpoint Sells its Altcoin Holdings
The most recent disclosure shows Remixpoint has exited its altcoin positions completely. The sale covered some of the cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin. Altogether, Remixpoint sold 901 ETH, 13,920 SOL, 1.19 million XRP, and 2.8 million DOGE, generating around $5.5 million. That led to a profit of nearly $736,800. Remixpoint said this is all a part of its plan to select and concentrate its portfolio. Rather than holding several different cryptocurrencies, the company wants to focus on BTC alone.
This is a major shift from the past, when Remixpoint also invested in staking Ethereum and Solana. At the end of August 2026, staking assets were valued at roughly 10.93 million yen in ETH and about 18.94 million yen in SOL, around 29.87 million yen total. Those holdings are no longer part of Remixpoint’s cryptocurrency portfolio.
Bitcoin becomes the Company’s Main Focus
According to the latest disclosure, Remixpoint is putting all of its cryptocurrency on BTC. By the end of August 2026, it held roughly 14.92 BTC. Based on the company’s monthly valuation, those Bitcoin holdings were worth about 164.21 million yen. Another report put the dollar value at about $1.0258 million.
This means Remixpoint’s entire cryptocurrency business will now revolve around BTC instead of being spread across Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and others. This makes the latest announcement more than a simple sale of individual cryptocurrency. Remixpoint said it’s focusing its portfolio entirely on BTC for the future.
The company’s September 2 disclosure titled “Notice Regarding Cryptocurrency Investment Performance and Sale of Altcoins”, gave an update of its crypto investments through the end of August 2026 and explained the altcoin sales.
Dylan LeClair Responds to the Shift
The move got a positive reaction from Dylan LeClair of Metaplanet. After Remixpoint made its announcement, LeClair said he was encouraged to see the company shift to Bitcoin. He added he was glad to see more companies moving in this direction.
ビットコインへの一本化、心強く感じます。同じ方向を目指す企業が増えることを嬉しく思います。💪🇯🇵
— Dylan LeClair (@DylanLeClair) SEPTEMBER 2, 2026
Instead of just focusing on each altcoin sale, he highlighted the significance of betting only on Bitcoin. For Remixpoint, that direction is clear: as its disclosures show, every altcoin has been sold, and management intends to keep everything focused on Bitcoin.
The company’s latest figures show the scale of the transition. Remixpoint sold 901 ETH, 13,920 SOL, 1.19 million XRP, and 2.8 million DOGE, earning about $5.5 million and making roughly $736,800 in profit. At the end of August, the company had about 14.92 BTC, worth around 164.21 million yen.
So, Remixpoint has moved from a mixed portfolio, Bitcoin, staked ETH and SOL, and other altcoins, to a strategy with BTC as the main focus.
